Narrow Passage VaseA long sinuous vase with a narrow opening, the vase’s base is the footprint of the land the designer grew up on, bounded by Narrow Passage Creek in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The vase is a personal expression of place, experience, and loss.
Memory BankA piggy bank designed to hold items of emotional value instead of financial value. A long slot accommodates small notes, photos, and mementos.Initially conceived as an element within a master’s thesis project considering objects that might be used within the context of faking one’s own death.

Swirl TumblerPart of a line of dishes whose edges capture the movement of the liquid clay used to make them, the process, and the hand that made them.

Wobble BowlsRound-bottomed bowls, rock and move but steady themselves for everyday use, utilizing colors and playfulness reminiscent of childhood.
Warm SeatIntegrating blanket and stool, acknowledging a common function and integrating it within the seating itself.
