WHAT WE DO
Founder Jessie Phillips Andersen designs everyday objects that explore emotions.
Applying a minimal design sensibility to ideas like memory, time, and home, she works to evoke love, connection, fear, or maybe just delight.
Her designs are intended to create meaningful emotional experiences through the objects we encounter, so we're more connected with our world and what it contains.
While current designs are focused on ceramic tableware and accessories, look for upcoming work to expand into design for the entire home, including furniture and textiles.
Her work has been shown at international design exhibitions such as the Designboom Mart at ICFF; featured in media including the Today Show, HGTV Magazine, Swiss Miss, and Apartment Therapy; and she has executed a successful Kickstarter campaign, which was also selected as a Kickstarter Project of the Day.
Jessie holds a Master of Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a B.A. in Sociology from Haverford College. She lives and works in Portland, OR with her husband, baby, and feline companions, Ducky and Bad Cat.
